Google Meet® is available through the Student G (Google) Suite. It is built to let dozens of people join the same virtual meeting and speak or share videos from anywhere with Internet access.
Dial-in phone numbers may also be used to access sessions, enabling users with slow or no Internet connection to call in.
Login Instructions
All active employees and students can access this service.
- Open Chrome or any internet browser (e.g., Firefox, Edge, Opera).
- Go to accounts.google.com to sign in to your Google account.
- Enter your user name (e.g., jsmith1234@student.elgin.edu) and password using the same academic network credentials you would use to log into the accessECC portal.
- From a new Chrome browser tab, search for and select the 'Meet' app from the Google Apps drop-down menu or visit meet.google.com to start your meeting.
