Asian Pacific Month

Elgin Community College proudly commemorates the rich history and invaluable contributions of Asian culture. The APM Planning Committee at ECC has embraced the theme "Empowering Identity: Exploration through Representation" for this month's celebration series, which is dedicated to honoring the diverse cultures, histories, and identities of Asian and Pacific Islanders. Despite often being lumped together as a single entity, this community encompasses more than 40 distinct ethnicities.
