2023 - Take Five With…Todd Anderson

Todd Anderson, director of the truck driving program, began at ECC in January 2022 and has already transformed and expanded ECC’s offerings to reflect the growing need of the truck driving industry. Anderson, a seasoned driver of 14 years, not only leads the program, but you can also find him out in the truck driving yard, helping instruct the next crop of drivers.

Before coming to ECC, Anderson worked as a program coordinator for the truck driving program at the College of DuPage for five years, followed by instructing seasoned drivers in safety at GP Transco. Where is the best place you’ve traveled, or where is somewhere you dream of going, and why? I’d love to travel to the Philippines for scuba diving.

What’s one thing that really makes your day? Laughter

If you could have dinner with anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why? I’d have dinner with JFK and would like to ask him about the classified documents on Vietnam.
