Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is an honors society recognized all over the country for its members, their academic success, and their continuous contributions to society. PTK eligibility requires 12 completed credit hours with a minimum GPA of 3.25.
For newly enrolled students, ECC’s Rho Kappa chapter offers provisional membership. PTK members participate in various scholarship, service, leadership, and fellowship activities. Participation at state, regional, and international conventions broadens members’ experiences and builds leadership skills. PTK membership is also noted on official college transcripts and recognized at commencement. A one-time application fee applies.

A partnership helps students support each other
ECC's Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society has been cultivating a garden plot at Advocate Sherman Hospital for over three years. Everything the students grow is donated to the Spartan Pantry.
