Humanities is the study of artistic, religious, and philosophic expressions of cultures around the globe. At ECC, you'll practice essential critical reasoning, writing, and research skills under the guidance of expert faculty. Through courses in philosophy, ethics, logic, religion, and general humanities, you’ll develop strong analytical skills crucial for personal and professional growth. ECC’s Humanities Center provides an enriching environment that brings contemporary cultural issues to the forefront. The center engages students and community members with a popular speaker series, an international film festival, and a stimulating philosophical discussion forum, Socrates Café.
