Humanities, International Studies
Overview
Humanities is the study of artistic, religious, and philosophic expressions of cultures around the globe. You’ll practice essential critical reasoning, writing, and research skills with the direction of expert faculty. Develop strong analytical skills that are invaluable to employers by taking courses in philosophy, ethics, logic, religion, and general humanities, and apply them in careers as diverse as business, education, government, law, and medicine.
ECC’s Humanities Center spotlights contemporary cultural issues, engaging students and community members with a popular speaker series, international film festival, and a stimulating philosophical discussion forum, Socrates Café.
