Elgin Community College, Harper College, and Chicago-Cook Workforce partnership offer day and evening classes and career skills development at our Hanover Park extension site in the following, primary areas (all of which are free of charge):

Career Classes

Select college-level courses are also offered at the site through Elgin Community College and Harper College’s affordable tuition rates.

WorkNet® Center

Our on-site WorkNet® Center also provides career resources, workshops, training assistance, volunteer, and job opportunities.

This center serves as an affiliate to the North Suburban Cook County American Job Center. Customers can visit this location in person or connect to program information online. The center offers training referrals, career counseling, job listings, and similar employment-related services. If you are unemployed, underemployed, considering a career change, or seeking training, we provide support with all aspects of your career development and enhancement.

ABE/ASE/ESL Classes

Complete the student inquiry form to begin the process of signing up for classes. Or, visit us in person. Please bring the following:

  1. Photo ID
  2. Letter of separation from high school (only for those 16-17 years of age)
  3. Proof of public assistance; L.I.N.K. or medical card (only for those receiving public assistance)
