I just love to have fun

What will it be part 2

To follow up the last blog I posted up, I have gotten time to rest up and I'm feeling less frustrated and angry. Now that I had time to think clearly, the way I feel now is just disappointed.  I have wasted time trying to get to know people, but in the end they just disappoint me and make me look like a fool.

I have finally realized that these people are just letting me down; no matter how many chances I give them, they let me down. I think enough is enough.  It’s just ridiculous the way that it’s been going. I guess in a way I am still frustrated, but for some reason I can’t let this go.  I try not to think about the situation, but it is difficult.  I think I’m starting to lose my mind.

All these people are trying to bring me down. I know they are intimidated by me, and they will try anything to defeat me. But you know what, I won’t let that happen, because only I can predict my future not them, I am too determined to be defeated by anyone who despises me.

I’ve worked so hard to be where I am in life, and I won’t let anyone bring me down.  Most of them don’t even understand the meaning of hard work, and dedication.  With this dedication and hard work that I have in everything that I do, I know I will be successful.

"Leaders aren't born they are made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work. And that's the price we'll have to pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile."

What will it be?

As I am sitting here at 4:00am, I as well write about how I feel. Frustration is really what feel.  Maybe I were able to fall asleep I would feel better, but i think that's going to be happening at this point. Speaking of sleep, the amount of sleep needed is just not there anymore. There is always that call at an odd hour, or there is something to think about, and in your mind you play out the scenarios, and you think is this going to go right, or its just because you have to stay up all night to study. But you know what, that's just the way life is. You can always take a step forward, and feel like you are progressing, but then you take two steps back and you think to yourself, what just happened. But at one point you'll be at a cruising altitude, but as gravity explains it, what goes up must come down. But then again that just the way life is. Everything happens for a Reason. No matter what the situation, there are reason behind it, and you  have to be able to find it.  As always, there are a few exceptions.  Sometime you won't find a reason, sometimes whatever happened can't be explained because sometimes people are just ridiculously stupid to even know what they are doing. Can't really change those people no matter how many times you try, so you have to ignore them and don't let them get in the way of your goals.  Some of them will try to ruin your life so they feel better about there lives. IGNORE them.
It is now 4:14am and I know I've been rambling on about how I feel, but how I feel definitely makes me feel better. If you read this and enjoyed it sweet, if not than oh well.
Before I finish I just want to say that I wrote this once before, but I accidentally closed the window so I had to re-do it.

On Thursday October 29th, the NBA will finally be on its way.  Being an avid Chicago Bulls fan I am excited for the season to start.  With reigning Rookie of  the Year Derrick Rose and a young experienced lineup I am feeling good about this years team. After their loss in the playoffs to the Celtics last year, I was impressed because the Bulls did not give up. This year they lost their leading scorer Ben Gordnon, but i believe that John Salmons will fill in that spot very well. Also Luol Deng is returning from an injury so that will boost up the team. One of my favorite players on the team Tyrus Thomas needs to step it up, he can easily get a double-double every night, but I have faith in him to have an outstanding season.  Their first game will be Thursday against the San Antonio Spurs.
My projected starting lineup is
PG- Derrick Rose
SG- John Salmons
SF-Luol Deng
PF-Tyrus Thomas
C- Joakim Noah

Bench:

Kirk Hinrich
Brad Miller
Taj Gibson
Janero Pargo
James Johnson

Prediction: Bulls: 87 Spurs: 82

Food Food Food!

Last Thursday, I was invited to eat a burger at Spartan Terrace, and ohh boy did I enjoy it. The burger that I had ordered was called "Killer B's- Bacon, Buffalo, and Bleu.  It was a beef burger topped with crisp bacon, creamy bleu cheese and house-made "Buffalo" hot sauce served on an onion roll.  All I could say about the burger is that it was DELICIOUS!!!!  I was also able to try a bite of The Bellephron Burger, which was also delightful.  This was a Greek style burger stuffed with Calamata olives and crumbled Feta cheese, topped with tomatoes, red onions, and Pepperoncini peppers served on a English muffin.
Now the reason I was invited to eat a burger is because there will be a burger competition at the Grand Victoria Casino for ECC culinary students.  The 1st place winner will get 2000 dollars and their burger on the casino's menu for a year, second place will receive 1000 dollars, and third place will receive 500 dollars.
These culinary students, and the culinary program have done a great job.  If you have a chance please go to Spartan Terrace and try one of their 15 amazing burger, because you will be amazed.
