ECC Foundation
The ECC Foundation was established in 1984 for the purpose of soliciting gifts in support of academic programs at Elgin Community College (Community College District 509). The ECC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) IRS tax-exempt, public charity governed by a community-based, volunteer board of directors.
During its first 25 years of existence, the foundation provided over $1 million of financial support directly benefitting ECC students through scholarship awards and enhanced academic programming support. This significant accomplishment was possible only through the numerous donations from generous individuals, families, businesses and various civic organizations and agencies.
