Networking Groups
ECC Manufacturing Network Group
These quarterly meetings held at area manufacturing companies, and hosted by ECC Corporate Services Office, promote networking among industry professionals. Programs include company tour, overview and other topics of interest to manufacturers. Contact the director of corporate training at 847-214-7869 or vknapp@elgin.edu. Participation is limited to those who are employed by area manufacturing firms.
ECC Economic Development Networking Group
This group, composed of representatives of municipalities and chambers of commerce, holds quarterly luncheon meetings to secure grant funding for regional projects, including funds to complete an industry cluster analysis. ECC CEO Networking Group
Join other area CEOs and Dr. David Sam, ECC president, along with Susan VanWeelden, dean of corporate and continuing education, for quarterly breakfast meetings to discuss timely topics of interest and concern. Workplace Literacy
Your safety and communication needs are key to developing effective workplace literacy programs. Your employees are assessed before and after classes to assure growth in skills. Meetings are held regularly with company supervisors. Workplace Spanish and other formats are available on request.
