Project Update
Project updates for week of September 1, 2010
- Structural steel installation is nearly 50% complete
- Metal decking has started on second and third levels
- Slab on grade (concrete floors) is 95% complete
- Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing underground work is complete
- Waterproofing and backfill of foundation walls is nearly complete
- Stair and elevator masonry towers are complete. Metal stairs in fabrication
- Metal stud interior partitions layout started

- The new HCC gives the college the opportunity to introduce new programs
- The second floor of the building will be the new home for the life sciences/biology
