| Please note: Spartan Drive, the primary access road to the Elgin Community College Main Campus, is closed to traffic October 12 through approximately April 15, 2010 from McLean Boulevard to Renner Drive. Enter campus from Weld Road or Fleetwood Drive and follow signs. Allow extra travel time. |
Restricted parking lots (lot 7, part of lot 8, lot 17, and lot 18) require a parking permit or tag. Parking overnight is prohibited.
Non-restricted parking lots (lot 1-3, 5-6, 9, 11-12 & 19) are open parking spaces to students, visitors and staff. These spaces don't require parking permits or tags. They are open without restrictions unless posted otherwise. Parking overnight is prohibited.
Motorcycle parking is available in lots 1 and 9. They are designated parking spaces set aside during the appropriate seasons. Spaces are marked with signage. Parking overnight is prohibited.
A handicap placard/license plate issued by the state is required to park in handicap spaces. Handicapped drivers and passengers requiring special additional assistance should phone the ECC police at 847-214-7777.
Short-term medical permits are available from the ECC Police Department with a signed request from a doctor. These permits are valid only for the medical spaces with red/white signs, not for handicap spaces. There is medical parking at the Main Campus in lot 14 on Varrak Court and lot 15 (between MSC and ICT off Lehr Drive).
