MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Requirements for ECC Faculty Appointments:
Teaching Faculty in Baccalaureate/Transfer Level Courses
A master’s degree in the discipline or in a related discipline with at least 15 graduate hours in the discipline.
Adult Basic Education (ABE, GED, ESL)
A bachelor’s degree with 15 hours of coursework in ESL, adult education, or related field, and classroom experience. Masters degree in TESOL, adult education, or related field preferred.
Integrated Systems Technology
Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology.
Library
A master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution.
Nursing
A master’s degree and 4,000 hours of work experience.
Occupational Courses
A bachelor’s degree and 4,000 hours of work experience; or journeyman status and 4,000 hours of work experience; or recognized license; or certification and 4,000 hours of work experience.
Phlebotomy
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or related field , CLT/MLT or CLS/MT certification, and 2 years phlebotomy experience.
